We understand that learning to drive can be a worrying time. You can ring the office or your instructor any time and you will be reassured by our open and honest policy.

Here are some of the questions we are often asked:

“If I ring the office will I speak to the same person?”

We are a family run business, it will always be Brian or Jane who answer the phone and we are there to reassure and inform you, as well as book your lessons.

“I am very nervous and do not have much confidence. Will my instructor get cross?”

Our instructors are very experienced having dealt with all sorts of people and will treat you with patience and respect. Your lesson will suit YOU, they know that each person is different. They will also be friendly and fun, just enough to put you at ease.

“I don’t like reversing, I’ve tried it before and just couldn’t get the hang of it!”

With our techniques which are simple and easy to understand we find that anybody, with a little practise, can do all the reverse exercises. Our students rarely have any lasting problems.

“I don’t like roundabouts, I panic when I get near to them”

Your instructor will have dual controls, you will be safe at all times. With our techniques in driving you will learn about ‘the danger zone’ at roundabouts and that will give you the confidence you need.

“I’m worried about going along winding country lanes”

Do you know about the ‘vanishing point’?! When you understand how to approach this type of driving you will be able to see that you can do it!

“What about the theory test?”

Your instructor will help in any way he can and will give you all the information you need to book your theory test.

“How will I know when I am ready for my test?”

When your instructor feels the time is right, he will give you a ‘mock driving test’ and you can see then how well you have come along. Our aim is to get your driving to test standard as quickly as possible, as well as giving you the confidence you will need to pass that test first time.
